The Datejust is one of Rolex's most enduring designs, introduced in 1945 as the first self-winding wristwatch to display the date through a window on the dial. The 31mm variant continues this lineage with refined proportions suited to a more elegant wrist.

The 31mm Oystersteel case is paired with an 18ct white gold fluted bezel, a hallmark of the Datejust line since its inception. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens magnifies the date window at 3 o'clock, whilst the Oyster case construction provides water resistance to 100 metres.

The rhodium dial presents a cool, silvery-grey tone with luminous baton hour markers and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The sunray finish lends subtle depth that shifts with the light, complementing the white gold bezel above.

Inside sits calibre 2236, a self-winding movement featuring Rolex's Syloxi silicon hairspring for enhanced precision and resistance to magnetic fields. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve, and carries Superlative Chronometer certification — accurate to within minus two to plus two seconds per day.

Presented on an Oystersteel Jubilee bracelet, Rolex's five-piece link design introduced alongside the original Datejust in 1945. The concealed Crownclasp provides a clean, integrated closure.

Excellent condition from 2023 means minimal wear — expect light surface marks on the bracelet and case, maintained in nearly new condition. Complete as a full set with box and papers dated May 2023. The five-year Rolex manufacturer's warranty remains active until May 2028.
