Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLNR
The GMT-Master II traces its lineage to the original GMT-Master of 1955, developed in collaboration with Pan American World Airways for pilots crossing multiple time zones. The 126710BLNR — known colloquially as the "Batman" for its blue and black Cerachrom bezel — was introduced in 2019 housing Rolex's latest generation GMT movement.
The 40mm Oystersteel case features a bidirectional rotating bezel with a monobloc Cerachrom insert in blue and black ceramic, its 24-hour graduations moulded and filled with platinum coating. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens at three o'clock protects the dial, and the Oyster case is rated to 100 metres water resistance.
The black dial carries Chromalight luminous hour markers and hands, providing a long-lasting blue glow in low-light conditions. A date aperture sits at three o'clock, whilst the independent GMT hand — tipped with a green triangle — tracks a second time zone against the rotating bezel.
Inside, the calibre 3285 automatic movement features Rolex's Chronergy escapement with nickel-phosphorus pallet fork and escape wheel, a Parachrom hairspring, and delivers 70 hours of power reserve. It carries Superlative Chronometer certification, tested to -2/+2 seconds per day.
The three-piece Oystersteel Oyster bracelet is secured by an Oysterlock safety clasp with Easylink 5mm comfort extension.
Very good condition from 2024 means two years of wear — expect moderate scratching on polished surfaces, dulling on brushed components, possible desk-diving marks on clasp, no significant damage. Comes complete with original box and original papers. Five-year manufacturer's warranty active until 2029.
A purpose-built tool watch for global travellers, combining dual time zone functionality with Rolex's benchmark reliability.
