The Black Bay launched 2012 reviving Tudor's dive watch heritage. The Black Bay Ceramic introduced 2021 as collection's first full ceramic case combining monochromatic aesthetics with Master Chronometer certification.
Forty-one millimetres in black ceramic—zirconium oxide crystalline structure providing scratch resistance approximately seven times harder than stainless steel. Unidirectional rotating bezel with black ceramic insert and sixty-minute graduations. Snowflake hands—Tudor's signature since 1969. Domed sapphire crystal. Screw-down crown. Two hundred metres water resistance.
Black dial with applied hour markers and luminous coating. Inside sits Calibre MT5602-1U—Tudor manufacture movement with silicon balance spring. Seventy-hour power reserve—approximately three days. COSC chronometer certified plus METAS Master Chronometer certified achieving 0/+5 seconds daily accuracy and 15,000 gauss antimagnetic resistance.
Black rubber strap with pin buckle. Two additional straps included—black and grey NATO strap and grey fabric strap. Very good condition from 2023 means two years of wear—expect light surface marks on ceramic case (though ceramic resists scratching), straps showing moderate wear, no significant damage. Full set includes Tudor presentation box, warranty papers dated 2023, booklets, two additional straps. Manufacturer's warranty expired—covered by Pride & Pinion one-year warranty.
